These Terms & Conditions apply to the Travel Buddy matching service provided through TravelMoreWithNat.com (“TravelMoreWithNat”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating a Travel Buddy profile or purchasing a Travel Buddy matching service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Please read them carefully before using the service.

1. About the Travel Buddy service

TravelMoreWithNat provides a service that helps adults find potential travel companions with similar travel plans and travel preferences.

We collect information about your proposed trip and your travel preferences. We use this information to identify potentially compatible members of the Travel Buddy community.

Our service is a matching and introduction service only.

We do not:

• arrange flights;
• sell flights;
• arrange accommodation;
• sell accommodation;
• arrange transport;
• sell transport;
• arrange activities or excursions;
• act as a tour operator or travel agent;
• supervise or accompany you on your trip;
• guarantee that you will find a travel companion;
• guarantee that a suggested travel companion will be suitable for you;
• guarantee that you and another member will get along;
• guarantee that a suggested trip will take place.

You are responsible for deciding whether another person is suitable for you and for making your own travel arrangements.

2. Eligibility

The Travel Buddy service is available to people aged 18 or over.

By creating a profile or purchasing a matching service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove a profile if we reasonably believe that the person using it is under 18.

3. Creating a profile

You may create a Travel Buddy profile free of charge.

You agree to provide information that is accurate and reasonably up to date.

You must not:

• impersonate another person;
• create a profile using someone else’s information;
• deliberately provide misleading information;
• create multiple profiles for the same person for the purpose of manipulating the service;
• use another person’s contact details without their permission.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is suitable for use in the matching service.

You can ask us to update or remove your profile at any time.

4. Finding a travel buddy

If you have a specific trip in mind, you can purchase a Travel Buddy matching service for the applicable one-off fee shown on the website.

The current fee is £5.99 per matching request, unless another price is clearly displayed at the time of purchase.

The matching fee covers our service of searching the Travel Buddy community for potentially compatible travellers, and handling initial communication.

It does not constitute a guarantee that a suitable match exists.

The number of potential matches may vary depending on the destination, dates, travel preferences and number of people currently registered with the service.

5. How matching works

We use information provided by members to identify potentially compatible travel companions.

This may include information such as:

• destination;
• travel dates;
• date flexibility;
• departure airport;
• approximate budget;
• accommodation preferences;
• travel style;
• activity preferences;
• sightseeing preferences;
• social preferences;
• other information provided specifically for the purpose of matching.

We may use automated systems to compare this information and calculate compatibility between profiles.

We may also use automated tools to help generate explanations of why two people may be a potentially suitable match.

Our matching system is intended to assist with introductions. It does not determine whether two people will be personally compatible.

You remain responsible for deciding whether you wish to communicate with or travel with another member.

6. Potential matches

Where we identify a potentially suitable match, we may provide you with limited information about that person.

We will only disclose information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the choices made by the relevant members.

We will not publicly display your profile.

We may initially contact both members separately to establish whether they are interested in connecting.

Where appropriate, contact details may only be exchanged after both members have indicated that they wish to connect.

You must respect another member’s decision not to communicate with you.

You must not repeatedly contact, harass, intimidate or pressure another member.

7. Safety

TravelMoreWithNat is not able to verify every statement made by a member or independently establish that a person is who they claim to be.

You should therefore exercise appropriate caution when communicating with someone you have met through the service.

We recommend that you:

• communicate with a potential travel buddy before making travel arrangements;
• consider having a video call before travelling together;
• meet in a public place if meeting locally;
• tell someone you trust about your plans;
• make your own travel bookings;
• avoid sending money to someone you have met through the service;
• avoid sharing sensitive personal or financial information;
• consider arranging separate accommodation until you are comfortable travelling together.

You are responsible for your own safety and decisions.

8. Prohibited behaviour

You must not use the Travel Buddy service to:

• harass, threaten or intimidate another person;
• engage in abusive or discriminatory behaviour;
• send unwanted sexual content;
• solicit money from another member;
• commit fraud;
• impersonate another person;
• promote illegal activity;
• advertise unrelated goods or services;
• collect another member’s personal information for purposes unrelated to the service;
• use the service for commercial prospecting without our permission;
• attempt to circumvent our safety or matching processes;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or remove a profile where we reasonably believe these Terms & Conditions have been breached.

9. Reporting concerns

If another member behaves inappropriately or makes you feel unsafe, please contact us at:

Please provide as much information as reasonably possible so that we can investigate the matter.

We may suspend or remove profiles where appropriate.

We may also report matters to relevant authorities where we are legally required or reasonably consider it necessary.

10. No guarantee of compatibility

Travel preferences and questionnaire answers cannot predict whether two people will get along.

A high compatibility score does not mean that two people are personally compatible.

Similarly, a lower score does not necessarily mean that two people would not enjoy travelling together.

Our matching service is intended to identify potentially suitable introductions only.

11. Your responsibility for travel arrangements

You are responsible for researching, booking and paying for your own:

• flights;
• accommodation;
• insurance;
• visas and travel permissions;
• transport;
• activities;
• excursions;
• other travel arrangements.

You should independently check all travel information and requirements.

You should obtain appropriate travel insurance for your trip.

TravelMoreWithNat does not arrange these services as part of the Travel Buddy matching service.

12. Travel bookings and package travel

The Travel Buddy service does not include the organisation or sale of travel arrangements.

You should make your own travel arrangements directly with the relevant providers.

We will not combine or sell flights, accommodation, transport or activities to you as part of the Travel Buddy matching service.

If we introduce additional travel products or services in the future, separate terms may apply.

13. Payment

The applicable buddy search fee will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Payment must be made using the payment method offered on the website (PayPal).

We may use a third-party payment provider to process payments.

We do not store your complete payment card details unless expressly stated in our Privacy Policy.

14. Cancellation and refunds

Because the Travel Buddy matching service may begin immediately after purchase, you expressly request that we begin providing the service before the end of any applicable cancellation period.

Where applicable law gives you a statutory right to cancel, your rights will be explained at the point of purchase and will not be excluded by these Terms.

If we have already fully performed the service at your request, your statutory cancellation rights may be affected to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

15. Our responsibility

We will provide the Travel Buddy matching service with reasonable care and skill.

However, we cannot guarantee:

• that you will receive a match;
• that a match will respond;
• that a match will be available for your entire trip;
• that a match will behave appropriately;
• that a match will provide accurate information;
• that you will enjoy travelling with a match;
• that a planned trip will take place.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to those limitations and to applicable consumer law, we are not responsible for losses arising from arrangements that you independently make with another member.

16. Your relationship with another member

Any relationship, friendship, travel arrangement or other interaction between you and another member is between you and that person.

TravelMoreWithNat is not a party to any agreement between members.

You should agree independently how you will organise your trip and divide any costs.

We strongly recommend discussing financial arrangements before booking anything.

17. User content

You remain responsible for information and content that you submit to the Travel Buddy service.

By submitting information, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not knowingly breach another person’s rights.

We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or could create a safety, legal or reputational risk.

18. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please read our Privacy Policy before creating a profile or purchasing the matching service.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with and your rights.

19. Suspension and termination

You can ask us to remove your Travel Buddy profile at any time.

We may suspend or remove a profile if:

• you breach these Terms;
• we reasonably believe you have provided misleading information;
• we receive a credible safety complaint;
• your behaviour creates a risk to another member;
• we are required to do so by law;
• continuing to provide the service would create an unacceptable legal, security or operational risk.

Where appropriate, we may prevent a person from creating another profile.

20. Changes to the service

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the Travel Buddy service.

If we make a significant change affecting an existing paid service, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers where appropriate.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The version applying to your purchase will normally be the version displayed when you complete your purchase.

The latest version will be available on the website.

22. Intellectual property

The TravelMoreWithNat website, branding, written content and materials remain the property of TravelMoreWithNat or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

You must not copy, reproduce or commercially exploit these materials without permission.

23. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the law of the country in which you live.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have to bring proceedings elsewhere.
